From Zero to Seventeen
How we went from a single browser product to a multi-platform technology holding company
The first product
Isaac Havilah launches BantuX in Cape Town — a social internet browser built specifically for African users. First users in South Africa and Nigeria.
Platform expansion begins
BantuStream (video streaming) and Buslyft (ride-hailing) launch. The shared infrastructure thesis is validated — building the second product takes half the time of the first. 100K+ users reached.
Multi-vertical scale
FarmX, GrandEstate, and RunnerStack launch — proving the model works across agriculture, real estate, and e-commerce. 500K+ users across 25 countries. Regional offices open in Lagos and Nairobi.
Deep tech & hardware
Kavod Rail begins autonomous rail operations. TerraXplore enters mining technology. The portfolio expands to 17 platforms. $50M+ in platform transactions processed. 1M+ users across 50+ countries.
